The project

The Conseil d’économie sociale de l’Île de Montréal (CESIM) contacted Belvédère to refresh and adapt their visual identity for a variety of uses. Promotional items, a brand book, social media visuals, printed banners and a website were created.

The new logo was designed to integrate a number of symbolic elements relating to the mission, the vision and the values of CESIM. The uses of circles in the icon is a reference to the human and cooperative aspects of the organization. The arrows, created using a pattern of small dots, represent how change and positive action are possible if we work together.

The website also got a new coat of paint. It contains a searchable directory of social economy businesses and a news section. The tool’s ease of use certainly has made it a must in the Montréal social economy scene.
